I have previously raved about the benefits of Turmeric in skincare here, so I was very excited to incorporate the Double Serum into my daily skincare routine.

The two-phase hydric (water-soluble) and lipidic (oil-soluble) anti-aging formula ensures a perfect affinity with the skin and focuses on boosting the skin’s 5 vital functions for a more youthful appearance:

Packaging
One of my favorite features of this product is the packaging. The Clarins team have really outdone themselves with a design that offers a ‘made to measure’ custom application of the serum. The pump comes with a dial that allows the user to dispense an amount customized to their skin type or climate. Simply turn the dial to select the right dosage for your skin’s needs and press the pump. Mix both phases into the palm of your hand and apply generously to face and neck.
How to Use the Clarins Double Serum
Clarins suggests using the Double Serum consistently for 7 days, in the morning and in the evening, in order to see visible results. I’ve been using the serum for almost 3 weeks now. Initially, during the testing period, I used the Double Serum as suggested for 7 days. Then I’ve continued using it on and off for the past two weeks, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening on those nights when I don’t use a retinol. Although this serum contains fragrance, it did not irritate my sensitive skin. The fragrance is delicate and seems soothing to the senses. I prefer to use the small dose, as the serum glides effortlessly to veil the face and a little goes a long way. After using the serum for the recommended 7 days, I have noticed an improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin. My skin appeared more luminous, plump and some larger pores along my cheeks appeared less visible. Even though the dual phase features an oil component, the Double Serum feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind. The Double Serum is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive types like my own.
I’m surprised by how much my skin has enjoyed the Clarins Double Serum and I can definitely see it as having a permanent spot in my daily routine. Have you tried it yet?

As I said on your post, I’ve used this for a number of years and it’s still one of the best things I’ve ever used!!
I’m quite lucky with the condition of my skin, especially as I’m not good a routines, and maybe it’s because I’ve used this consistently, it’s one thing that I don’t change! I vary my moisturisers and other products on a regular basis (always think that it’s good to vary so your skin doesn’t get used to one type….is that ok?!?).
I am a fan of Clarins anyway and have never been disappointed in any of their products….the only perfume I wear during the day is their Eau du Jardin!!

I haven’t used this serum before maybe because, I have always thought to venture in the newer products for getting that experience sometimes does matter. Beautiful review Cat! I have been seeng this one promoted a lot so its nice to read about what it actually does. I love a serum or any skin treatment as you know and Clarins have really been on top form of late as I never got along with their skincare in the past but adore their suncare and body care lines, oh and makeup of course!
