The Best of Charlotte Tilbury Makeup | Unboxing a PR Package

It is a real ‘pinch me’ moment, one of those ‘Is this really happening to me?’ to arrive home to a surprise package filled with some of the most sought-after beauty products. And when you learn the package was thoughtfully curated and sent over by iconic powerhouse Charlotte Tilbury, well, then the surprise is that much sweeter! So I’m rather excited to be sharing this post with you today, as everything you’ll see arrived beautifully wrapped in the package I found on my doorsteps a few weeks ago!

To be completely fair, the package wasn’t a total surprise. I had been contacted by the Charlotte Tilbury team a few days prior, but had no idea what they would send and when, or if at all. It’s now been a few weeks and it still feels incredibly surreal. I am beyond grateful and incredibly humbled to have received these products complimentary, under no obligation to review or mention.

I typically unbox my PR packages on Instagram Story ( @DailyCatL ), but I wanted to try something different and show you everything here on the blog. Some of the products they sent are recent launches and some are products that have been the brand’s bestsellers. This post is not meant to be an in-depth review of every product mentioned, but rather a quick overview. I will however try to link a detailed review where I can find one. I also plan separate posts on some of the items I haven’t previously already mentioned here on the blog. So stay tuned.

Without further ado, let the unboxing begin …

Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask is a hydrating flawless tan mask. You apply a thin layer onto cleansed skin, leave it on overnight and awake to sun-kissed, glowy skin. The mask was new to me, but something that immediately grabbed my attention. I have now used it several times already. I like that it hydrates the skin overnight and has a gradual effect. You can build the intensity of the tan over several nights. Stay tuned for a detailed review coming to the blog very soon.

Wonder Glow Instant Soft-Focus Beauty Flash Primer is a multiple-use product that I have previously mentioned here. This is now my third bottle and a product I foresee myself repurchasing time and time again.

Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder is one of my Holy Grail powders, previously covered here. Over the years, I have recommended this powder to friends and family. The feedback is always the same. It’s one of THE best powder formulas out there.

Film Star Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight is a luxurious gilded compact featuring a universally-flattering duo comprised of a bronzer and highlighter. I cannot recommend this duo enough! The bronzer has just the right amount of pigment and blends so effortlessly. I have some enlarged pores on my cheeks and find that most highlighting products accentuate those trouble areas. The Film Star Bronze & Glow Duo is the ideal solution for those who like myself, struggle with oversized pores and dry skin. The formula is ultra-finely milled, feels incredibly weightless on the skin and looks very natural. I have previously swatched and posted a makeup look featuring this product here.

Eyes to Mesmerize in Star Gold and Rose Gold are new launches. It is my first time trying Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow and they do not disappoint. I will swatch them for you in this post but I do plan to cover them in detail and show you a close-up on the eyes in a separate post coming soon.

Full Fat Lashes Mascara is a 5-in-1 mascara that curls, separates, lengthens, adds volume and drama. If you saw my bare eyes and naked lashes here, then you’d know I need a lot of help in this department. So I’m excited to put this mascara to the test. Stay tuned!

Legendary Brows is an easy, precise brow brush with brow gel. I struggle with my brows as the hairs are fine and sparse. I really like the wand. It’s very small and precise. Thus, it grabs hold of every hair making my brows look naturally fuller. I’m thinking about doing a separate post and showing you the before and after. Let me know your thoughts.

The Classic Eye Powder Pencil is a creamy eyeliner in a sophisticated charcoal color. It’s feels so buttery and glides so effortlessly! If you’ve been looking for a buildable classic liner that can look naturally chic by day and glamorously smokey by night, look this way!

The Feline Flick Fine Line Shodo Pen is a liquid eyeliner inspired by Shodo (Japanese calligraphy). I cannot believe I never tried this before!! It has a very fine tip that creates a clean, precise line every time. The formula is fluid, dries quickly and stays put all day. And that says a lot, considering I’ve been wearing this liner in the hot and humid Florida climate.

Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk is probably my most repurchased beauty item to date. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve probably seen this in every Empties Story I upload. It is a natural-looking, ‘your lips but better’ kind of color. The formula has the right consistency. It glides easily without tugging at the delicate skin on the lips. My lips are webbed by lines and this liner does an excellent job filling them in.

Kissing Lipstick in B* Perfect has been on my wish list for ages! I only own Penelope Pink from the Kissing range and I adore the formula. It feels very balmy on the lips and has a beautiful sheeny finish.

Kissing Lipstick in Stoned Rose is new to me, but it looks like the most universally-flattering warm-toned nude.

I plan a detailed post with swatches and up-close makeup looks to show you how both of these lipsticks translate onto the lips. Stay tuned.

I hope you all know by now that I pride myself on the fact that my opinion is always my uncensored opinion. The purpose of this unboxing post is to maintain transparency as far as what’s sent to me versus what I purchase myself. Regardless, I always try to be fair and impartial with my reviews. The Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask and the Wonder Glow Beauty Flash Primer lend such a natural, luminous glow to the skin! The Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Powder is imperceptible on the skin, yet it does such an excellent job setting my makeup. The shades in the Film Star Bronze & Glow duo are so beautifully pigmented and add subtle dimension to the face.

I used the shade Star Gold on my eye lids and layered on my Charlotte Tilbury Golden Goddess palette previously swatched here. Next, I lined my upper lash line with the Shodo Liquid Eyeliner and used the Classic Pen to tightline. I curled my eyelashes as described here and added two coats of the Full Fat Lashes Mascara. I filled in my brows with my Anastasia Brow Wiz reviewed here and set everything with the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows Gel. On the lips, I’m wearing B* Perfect layered over my Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk.
