If there is one mask that has managed to pull me away from some old favorites (which you can read more about here) and with a strong tug I might add, that is the Farmacy Honey Potion face mask. This is the one mask that does it all: it cleanses the pores, nourishes and hydrates the skin, revitalizes the complexion and leaves your face looking healthy, glowing and smooth. The Farmacy Honey Potion is what I like to call my skin detox in a jar!
I discovered Farmacy Beauty a while back and dedicated an entire post to this natural skincare brand here. What immediately fascinated me about this brand and continues to draw me to their products is their core concept: farm-to-table skincare based on farm-grown botanicals that are infused in irritant-free, bioactive formulations with the sole aim to deliver healthy, fresh and radiant skin.
At the heart of ALL Farmacy products is Echinacea GreenEnvy, a variant of Echinacea Purpurea known to contain the highest concentration of Cichoric Acid. Cichoric Acid is a potent natural anti-oxidant that helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen. It also works to normalize the skin pigmentation process by promoting a more radiant and even-toned complexion. Farmacy works with local farmers in the upstate New York area to cultivate and harvest this exceptional Echinacea, as well as the other botanicals used in the creation of their skincare products, hence why the farm-to-table concept so aptly describes the brand. In the brand’s own words their products are: ‘farmer cultivated and scientist activated for fresh, radiant skin’.
Farmacy Honey Potion – A Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask
The name suits this mask to a T. It is truly a potion, a concoction with healing and intensely moisturizing properties. The potent combination of honey (a natural humectant used since ancient times), propolis (a healing antiseptic found in beehives) and royal jelly (a nourishing powerhouse rich in amino acids and essential B vitamins) works to nourish, revitalize and enhance the skin for a glowing, smooth, younger-looking complexion. All these natural ingredients are sourced from bees that live on the Farmacy farm and pollinate the Echinacea GreenEnvy flowers. Glycerin, another main component, acts as a natural humectant, helping attract moisture to the skin and providing hydrating effects for a moist, supple skin surface.
The mask gently warms up upon contact with the skin and transforms into a rich cream as it’s massaged into the face, soothing and revitalizing the complexion. The magnetic spatula makes it incredibly easy and mess-free to scoop out just the right amount and it cleverly attaches to the top, so you’ll never be without it.
My Experience
Since I first learned about this honey mask while browsing the Sephora website and simultaneously seeing it everywhere on Instagram, I was dying to give it a go! As with all face masks in general, I always apply it to a freshly cleansed face (more on how to properly cleanse your face here) that is only slightly damp and almost dry, making it easier for the mask to adhere to the skin. The mask has a richly saturated golden honey color with a marmalade texture, but once massaged into the skin it turns into a balmy, light-colored cream that immediately begins to warm up.
My skin is super sensitive and fussy on most days, so initially I wondered how it would respond to the warming effect of this mask. Well, turns out my skin adores it! This mask is incredibly lush and completely lifts the skin from a swallow state, revealing a brighter, more luminous complexion. When I first got the mask a few months ago, I used it primarily in the evening time. The warming sensation on a cold, dreary night felt so comforting and soothing! But as the weather began to warm up, I have transitioned to using the mask in the morning right before getting into the shower. It’s the perfect pick-me up!
There’s nothing not to love about this mask. It feels so therapeutic and indulgent, I always look forward to using it. I like that it removes easily without having to tug at the skin and it only takes 10 minutes to work its magic.

I love the Farmacy products. I remember a couple of years ago their first release were their masks and I tried them. I’ve been using their products ever since. I really like this mask.
